Policies & FAQ

Our Service Area

 Delivery is currently available in Rochester and the immediate surrounding area. Delivery in Rochester is $35. Call for pricing on delivery outside of Rochester. We offer customer pickup and return of some of our items. Please call for more information.

Delivery & Pickup Information

 Please call for the delivery cost for your area. Standard delivery includes drop off at mutually agreed upon, convenient, ground-level location such as a loading dock, garage or porch. Upon pick up, all items should be repackaged and stacked in the same location as delivery. If the equipment is unavailable for pick up on the agreed date and time, an additional charge will be made.

Loss Or Damage

 Customers are responsible for rental items from the time of delivery to the time of return/pickup. Please be sure all equipment is secured when not in use and protected from the weather. We do charge for missing or broken items. The damage waiver covers accidental damage due to normal use of equipment, it is not insurance. The damage waiver does not cover the loss of items. 

RESERVATIOns/Cancellation of Items

 Most rental periods are for 1-3 days. Longer rental periods are available by quote. A 50% deposit is required to reserve rental items. Deposits are refundable up until 90 days prior to the event. All orders are completely non-refundable 30 days prior to the event. All orders must be paid in full two weeks prior to the event. The rental charge is for time out whether the items are used or not. A quote/estimate is not a reservation. Items will not be reserved until a deposit is made. Rentex accepts cash, checks and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express) for payment.  Cities, Churches, Schools, Businesses, and non-profits may make special arrangements for payment.   You can postpone or reschedule your rental up to 24 hours prior to your rental and your deposit will be credited towards your next rental.   

Marking & Measuring the Setup Location

 The customer is responsible for locating any underground power lines, sprinkler systems, cable lines, and phone lines before delivery. Rentex will not be responsible for hitting any unmarked lines.  If you're unsure, please call GopherStateOne for assistance in locating underground service lines. Customers are also responsible for making sure that rental items will fit in the designated setup location as well as: under trees, power lines, and through doors, gates if required for the setup of rental items. 

Concessions and Food Service

 For health and sanitary reasons, all rental items must be returned food free.
